Mad Max: Fury Road   I saw "Mad Max: Fury Road" during opening weekend with my friend James and his son Nick and let me start by saying WOW, man, just WOW!!! What an intense, extreme, action packed, thrilling, violent and crazy movie. I LOVE IT!!! George Miller has taken his Mad Max creation to a level higher than I can imagine. There's a lot of chasing in it and a lot of shit being blown up. There was times I would 'gasp', times I would go 'wow!' and times I would say 'Holy Shit!' There were a lot of amazing stunts and vehicles crashing. The new vehicles have an interesting design to them. What I love about the camera work is not just the stunts they shot, but the colors as well. The night shots would have a blue tint and some of the daylight shots would have an orange or yellow tint. Mad Max is always traveling around and meeting new people and enemies. In this one Max is helping a woman named Imperator Furiosa get these 5 woman away from a cult leader named Immortal Joe and his army. Tom Hardy who I known of for 5 years played Max. He didn't talk much, but of course Max doesn't look like the type of character who talks much. He does have a lot of fighting skill in him along with Imperator Furiosa. Charlize was great in this. Her character along with the other female characters in this film are bad asses. I like the way Nicholas Hoult says "What a day, what a lovely day". "Mad Max: Fury Road" is not a remake. If it's written and directed by George Miller, the same guy who did the first 3 then it's not a remake. By the end of the movie I was relieved because a character stayed alive. I can't say the characters name because I don't want to spoil too much. Mad Max left at the end as usual, but he'll be back. Tom Hardy said he was set to be in 3 more Mad Max movies after "Fury Road". "Mad Max: Fury Road" is one of the best movies I've seen out of the Summer season so far and it's definitely worth seeing. My rating for it is 5 out of 5. The villain 'Immortan Joe' was played Hugh Keays-Byrne the same man who played Toecutter in the first "Mad Max". Mel Gibson was open to return as Mad Max, but "Fury Road" was taking years to develop and director George Miller wanted the character to stay at a young age so Tom Hardy was cast. Mel Gibson and Tom Hardy at the premiere. Behind the scenes
